Markieff Morris will reportedly join the Los Angeles Lakers by signing a $1.75 million deal with the team's disabled player exception. After he was cleared of waivers, Morris will officially be a member of the Lakers.
The 30-year-old Morris averaged 11.0 points and 3.9. rebounds in 22.5 minutes per game for the Detroit Pistons, who agreed to a contract buyout with the nine-year veteran on Friday. Morris also shot a career-high 39.7 percent from the three-point line.
