RuPaul announced a spin-off of RuPaul's Drag Race, called RuPaul's Celebrity Drag Race, will debut on VH1 in 2020.
RuPaul announced the spin-off at Vanity Fair's Vanity Fair's 6th Annual New Establishment Summit at Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills, California. The series will have celebrity guests joined by RuPaul's Drag Race alums who help with their transformations.
While the celebrity contestants have not yet been announced, they will be competing to win the title of America’s Next Celebrity Drag Superstar. There will also be a cash prize awarded that will be donated to the charity of the winning celebrity's choosing.
