Cincinnati Bengals A.J. Green is expected to be out 6-8 weeks and will miss the Bengals Week 1 game versus the Seattle Seahawks. During the team’s first practice on Saturday, Green went down with an injury. After undergoing an MRI, Green has avoided a season-ending injury, but he did suffer some torn ligaments in his ankle.
Green is among the NFL’s most talented wide receivers. In his first five seasons, Green eclipsed 1,000 yards receiving and averaged nine touchdowns.
Green had his season cut short in 2018 due to a toe injury to his right foot.
