At the SAP Center in San Jose Wednesday night, the San Jose Sharks defeated the Colorado Avalanche in Game 7. The Sharks won 3-2 and will now advance to the Western Conference Finals for the second time in the last four years.
San Jose saw Joe Pavelski return to the lineup for the first time since the captain suffered a scary head injury in the finale of their first-round series against the Golden Knights. Pavelski scored in his return.
The Sharks will next play against the St. Louis Blues Saturday night at 5 p.m. at the SAP Center.
